We are growing rapidly and are hiring an experienced Estate Planning Specialist to join our team to support a new software product aimed at helping advisors easily review and analyze their clients’ estate plans.

Position Overview
As an Estate Planning Specialist, you’ll bring deep expertise in reading and interpreting estate planning documents. Naturally, this role requires strong reading comprehension and the ability to resolve ambiguity. Your knowledge and experience will be essential to not only deliver high-quality results to customers, but also to help shape how our software becomes more scalable and delightful.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Review estate planning documents accurately and within defined service levels.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and review policies.
- Provide expert guidance and support to estate planning team members.
- Identify ways to enhance the customer experience and streamline internal processes.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in estate planning.
- Develop deep expertise in the logic behind Holistiplan’s estate product.
- Occasionally assist with customer training and education sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, paralegal, or trust administrator/officer.
- J.D., Paralegal License, CTFA certification, or completion of an accredited Trust School.
- Advanced expertise in reviewing and interpreting estate planning documents, including Revocable and Irrevocable trusts, Wills, and Powers of Attorney (Financial and Medical).
- Skilled at identifying drafting errors and resolving ambiguous language.
- Strong understanding of federal estate and transfer tax laws, including common planning strategies.
- Proficient in state-level estate and inheritance tax considerations.
